Description
The contract consisted of the alterations to an existing disused attic storage area at Wolverhampton Central Library into new office accommodation including the installation of toilet and kitchen facilities for the office staff. The works undertaken were:-
- Isolation of existing services
- Demolition of existing rooms in co-ordination with new office layouts
- Structural works to enable the forming of new stairwells
- Structural works to stabilize existing roof turret features
- Installation of rooflights and survey existing roof including lead deatiling to roof turrets
- Remove, recondition and reinstall weather vain to top of turret
- Form new double landing stairwell through the inside of the existing roof turret, once structural works complete
- Form new office layout to first floor and attic, including all M&E works
