A year ago, we delivered 10 houses, 2 flats and 1 bungalow in Oxfordshire. The mixture of properties was designed based on findings of a Housing Needs Survey by Cherwell District Council.
To ensure sustainability throughout the homes, we used air source heat pumps for both heating and hot water, maximising their thermal efficiency whilst also implementing a ‘fabric-first’ approach. We were also able to retain a variety of existing mature trees and hedgerow along the western boundary.
Materials were procured with consideration to the local area: with natural stone and slate roofs, the properties were constructed to integrate well into their Cotswold surroundings.
