International Day of Charity

Today, as the world observes International Day of Charity, Harper Group takes a moment to reflect on its commitment to giving back. Over the past six years, we’ve been privileged to support seven exceptional charities:

  • Breast Cancer Haven provides holistic support to women and their families affected by breast cancer.
  • Breast Cancer Now funds world-class research and provides vital support for people affected by breast cancer.
  • Mind: Dedicated to improving mental health awareness and providing support to those experiencing mental health difficulties.
  • Macmillan Cancer Support: Offers comprehensive support to people living with cancer, including financial, emotional, and practical assistance.
  • Alzheimer’s Society: Provides information and support for people with dementia and their carers, working towards a world without dementia.
  • Teenage Cancer Trust: Specialises in providing support for young people with cancer, ensuring they have access to the best possible care and support.
  • Parkinson’s UK: Funds research into Parkinson’s disease and provides support to people living with the condition.

Each of these organisations play a crucial role in the lives of countless individuals and families.

Our employees have wholeheartedly embraced our charitable endeavours, organising a variety of fundraising events. From spirited football matches and delectable cake days to casual dress-down Fridays and lively raffles, our teams have shown remarkable enthusiasm and creativity. These events have not only generated funds but also fostered a strong sense of community and purpose within Harper Group.

We believe that businesses have a responsibility to contribute positively to society. By supporting these incredible charities, we hope to make a tangible difference in the lives of others. As we look ahead, we remain committed to our philanthropic mission and exploring new ways to give back.
