We were honoured to attend the official opening of The Sunground development in Avening, where HRH The Princess Royal, a renowned patron of affordable housing, graciously presided over the ceremony.
This significant event marked the culmination of a successful partnership between Harpers and English Rural, a leading provider of affordable housing in rural communities.
The Sunground development comprises 14 much-needed affordable homes, including nine for social rent and five for shared ownership. Built to high environmental standards with features like air source heat pumps and solar panels, these homes provide sustainable and comfortable living spaces for local residents.
It was a privilege to witness firsthand the positive impact of this project, which will contribute significantly to the vibrancy of the Avening community.
