Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service carried out training at our site at Bath Street.
The training involved how to navigate a building in the dark. The fire fighters were blindfolded to simulate a smoke-filled building, they had hung cables from the ceilings and on stairways to train them on how to negotiate cables that tangle in their breathing apparatus.
They also trained in the propping of walls and staircases that could collapse and used snake eye cameras that would be used to detect trapped people under rubble.
