Poppies are the symbol of remembrance for those that loved and lost during the First World War and many wars since. May we always remember the sacrifices they made.
Veterans around the world see a shortage of much needed housing, not only for them but for their friends, family and those they fought with.
Last year we worked with Alabaré Christian Care and Support and Stonewater on a project that saw several veterans get the much-needed accommodation and affordable housing they needed in Leominster.
As part of the self build scheme the veterans were able to gain invaluable experience and skills through working alongside Harpers and the construction teams.
We feel very honoured to have worked alongside Alabaré Christian Care and Support and Stonewater on such a prestigious scheme at Waterworks Lane.
Nearly a year on and the veterans have settled into their homes.
