Description
J. Harper & Sons (Leominster) Ltd were appointed as principal contractor for the demolition of the former disused LEA Swimming Pool (which closed in 2009 due to long-term structural damage) and construction of 4 No. 1 bed apartments and 4 No. 2 bed apartments.
The properties were of a timber frame construction and brick external skin. The scheme incorporated a Section 104 agreement which included upgrade of the Hinton Community Centre drainage system.
The scheme benefited the local community by supporting and creating new jobs and using as much of the local supply chain as possible.
