Description
J. Harper & Sons (Leominster) Limited acted as Principal Contractors under a JCT Design and Building Contract with Fortis Living, SJD Architects and Derek Evans Partnership in completing the demolition of existing garages and the construction of 2 No. Two Bedroom Four Person Bungalows in Pridzor Close, Droitwich.
The bungalows were traditional in their construction with cavity insulation, concrete roof tiles with false GRP brick clad chimneys, UPVC windows and doors to Secured by Design requirements and ‘A’ rated gas fired central heating.
The bungalows consisted of fully fitted kitchens and bathrooms with low level entry shower cubicles incorporating mains fed shower, W.C. and hand basin and vinyl flooring.
The external works consisted of tarmac footpaths to frontages, with paving slab footpaths to a landscaped rear garden which is enclosed by acoustic fencing leading to a block paved car parking area at the rear.
The project was delivered ahead of programme and within budget and in compliance with all current Building Regulations, NHBC Regulations and Code for Sustainable Homes.
