Description
J. Harper and Sons (Leominster) Ltd were appointed as principal contractor for the design and construction of 6 no. residential dwellings for Rooftop Housing Group Ltd.
The site was part brown field and part green field with existing garages being demolished to provide access and parking spaces with the properties being developed on the green field location.
The method of build was timber frame with an external brick skin, with a tenure mix of two shared ownership and four rental properties, one of which was highlighted early on for an end user with special requirements for a disability, which included external facilities for motorised wheelchair charging and storage.
This project was in the small village of Cleeve Prior which had logistical issues due to access via an existing small estate and local liaison was hugely important.
