J. Harper & Sons have been awarded a contract with Strata Housing Services Ltd (Wrekin Housing Trust)
Demolition is underway at the site in St Matthews Road, Donnington, Telford. The demolition of the existing flats will take place and they will be replaced with 23 new affordable dwellings.
The site has recorded mineshafts on it, so the layout has been carefully designed to minimize any impact. Ground remediation and works to cap one of the mines will be undertaken by a specialist contractor.
The new builds will provide the area with 20 modern houses and 3 Bungalows for residents.
